Our work experience encompasses many different industry sectors, including: Non-Profit, Office, Retail, Multifamily, Affordable Housing, Hospitality, Industrial, Cultural, Commercial, Education and Institutional Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to fabricate and install custom sheet metal products for commercial and industrial applications. You will work with a variety of metals and use specialized equipment to create ductwork, architectural elements, and custom fabrications. Responsibilities: - Fabricate custom sheet metal products including HVAC ductwork, fittings, and architectural elements - Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications - Operate sheet metal equipment including brakes, shears, plasma cutters, and roll formers - Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper) - Install fabricated products on commercial and industrial job sites - Take precise field measurements for custom fabrication - Maintain quality standards and inspect finished products - Follow safety protocols in shop and field environments Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation - Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings - Proficiency with sheet metal fabrication equipment and hand tools - Welding experience (TIG and MIG) on multiple metals - Strong math skills for layout and precision measuring - Valid driver's license - OSHA 10 certification preferred Benefits: - Competitive pay - Health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) retirement plan - Paid holidays and vacation - Shop and field work variety - Continuing education support Urban Resources Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
