Painting Estimator / Sales Veenhuizen Painting Specialties — Portland, OR Salary: $55,000 - $80,000 per year (base + commission) About Us: Veenhuizen Painting Specialties is a team of skilled and experienced, customer service oriented craftsmen, creating the finish you desire - from a coat of paint to custom and gorgeous! We are your quality painting, staining and refinishing company! Position Overview: We are hiring a Painting Estimator / Sales professional to meet with customers, assess painting projects, prepare accurate estimates, and close sales. You will be the bridge between our customers and our production teams. Responsibilities: - Meet with residential and commercial customers to discuss painting needs - Conduct thorough on-site assessments including measuring, surface evaluation, and scope definition - Prepare detailed, accurate estimates and proposals - Present options for paint products, colors, and project approaches - Follow up with prospective customers and maintain sales pipeline - Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets - Hand off sold projects to production with clear scopes of work - Build relationships with property managers, realtors, and repeat customers - Maintain records in CRM system - Stay current on paint products, trends, and industry standards Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in painting, construction sales, or estimating - Strong knowledge of painting processes, products, and surface preparation - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to prepare accurate takeoffs and cost estimates - Self-motivated with proven ability to close sales - Valid driver's license and professional appearance - Proficiency with estimating software and CRM tools Benefits: - Base salary plus commission on sold projects - Company vehicle - Health and dental insurance - Paid time off - Performance bonuses - Marketing-generated leads Veenhuizen Painting Specialties is an equal opportunity employer.
