Job Description The Senior Legal Counsel provides comprehensive in-house legal support to Vertiv’s business operations in Mexico, with additional regional support for Colombia and Central America, reporting directly to the Legal Director of LATAM. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to deliver practical, business oriented legal advice across a broad range of corporate, commercial, and compliance matters. This position is suited for a legal professional who has recently transitioned into a senior-level role and is continuing to develop depth, judgment, and regional exposure while operating with increasing autonomy. The Senior Legal Counsel supports the business by identifying legal risks early, facilitating commercially sound decisions, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to business, commercial, operations, human resources, finance, and procurement teams in Mexico, with regional support for Colombia and Central America. Advise on a broad range of legal matters, including: Corporate and commercial law Real estate and leasing matters Employment and labor law (individual and collective matters) Compliance and corporate governance Data privacy and data protection Intellectual property and risk management Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a wide range of agreements, including: Sales and service agreements Procurement and supply agreements Non‑disclosure agreements Consulting and professional services agreements Distribution, reseller, and partner agreements Education & Certifications Law degree with valid license to practice law in Mexico. Strong command of English (written and spoken) is required. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a highly rated law firm or corporate environment as a Sr. Lawyer 5-7 years of experience in total Legal Business Partner mindset Hands-on, well-versed and collaborative professional Able to navigate in highly matrixed and fast-paced Organizations Travel Requirements 25% of the time, national and international US VISA is required About The Team Work Authorization No calls or agencies please.
