Schedule
Following onboarding and training, this position works:
Sunday through Wednesday6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Participation in a rotating on-call program is required, including occasional weekends. Employees receive a $200 on-call stipend when assigned standby duty.

What You'll Do
As a Wastewater Treatment Operator, you will work under the guidance of the Lead Operator and Plant Manager to help ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations. Responsibilities include:
Operating and monitoring wastewater treatment processes and equipment
Regulating influent and effluent flows throughout the treatment system
Monitoring plant performance and making process adjustments as needed
Performing laboratory testing, sampling, and process analysis
Ensuring compliance with environmental permits and safety standards
Operating pumps, valves, instrumentation, and automated control systems
Reviewing SCADA and operational data to optimize performance
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on treatment equipment
Maintaining accurate operational records and regulatory documentation
Assisting with troubleshooting and emergency response activities
Supporting and mentoring less experienced operators
Performing general plant housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment

What We're Looking For
Grade 2 or Grade 3 California Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance
Ability to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic operating environment
Willingness to participate in rotating on-call coverage
Experience with MBR and UV disinfection systems is a plus but not required
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
Successful candidates who make it to the offer stage will need to first complete and clear a pre-placement background check, drug screen, and physical.
