About the Role:
Wipro is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Digital Engineering practice in Bengaluru. You will design and build scalable microservices for our enterprise clients across banking, healthcare, and retail sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Build event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile sprints
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
- Optimize application performance and reliability
- Participate in technical design and architecture reviews
- Write technical documentation and runbooks
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of backend development experience in Java
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and Kubernetes
- Proficiency with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Strong understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or related field
